After completing the Master Plan at Independence Hill Baptist Church, the Adams Group has completed the first step of the architectural project. The Phase I project consists of a new multipurpose sanctuary that offers flexible space that will be used for worship, fellowship, church events and a variety of other activities. The facility will accommodate 285 people for worship. The Chancel area has staging on both sides for performances and presentations. The new facility also includes 3 classrooms, a large multipurpose classroom, and sound booth area with supporting equipment rooms. The building is designed so that it can be converted into a recreation/basketball facility in the future. The materials being specified for the second story and stage area are comprised of structural studs and plywood in lieu of steel and concrete for ease of demolition for the Phase II facility.
