Adams Group has had the privilege of working on the Garinger High School campus for over 16 years. This historic campus was featured in a 1962 edition of National Geographic as Charlotte-Mecklenburg's showplace high school.

One of our first major projects on the campus consisted of the addition of a 4,400 SF student lobby and administration building. The renovations included the Media Center, Auditorium, ROTC Wing and Dance Studio, Campus Technology and Parking reconfiguration. The total project incorporates over 205,000 SF.

The architectural analysis of the campus revealed the need to introduce design elements inspired by the existing materials and textures. This is reflected by the use of multi-colored pre-cast concrete employed in a weave pattern.
